CLEAN works toward creating a safe, healthy, drug-free community by bringing together representatives from substance abuse prevention and treatment, law enforcement, schools, social services, health care, court services, youth programs, faith community, parents and other concerned community groups. Serves court-referred youth and their parents through prevention and early intervention services, support groups, education, pre-assessment and referral services. Programs for at-risk youth that addresses alcohol and other drug use, reduction of high-risk behaviors, conduct and consequences of behavior. Support group services are provided in conjunction with the Winchester City, Frederick, and Clarke County School systems. Kids Are Our Concern Committee (KAOC) – A volunteer committee of parents and community members concerned about the use of alcohol and other drugs by young people. It offers parenting education, parents’ awareness activities and parent support. Parent-to-Parent Workshops – A video-based workshop giving parents the knowledge and skills to help children achieve a drug-free passage into adulthood. Call for locations and times.
