Healthy Families works with first time parents in the community that may have additional burdens or stress that can impact parenting outcomes. Mothers/families complete assessment process @ 20 weeks prenatal and from birth to 3 months. Most assessments conducted after delivery at hospital or within 2 weeks of birth. Services offered include parent education classes, referrals to community services, home visiting services. Page County does not offer parent education classes but they have playgroup and a parent support group.
