General Assistance:

What to expect when calling a mental health helpline

 

Valley Assistance Network (VAN) – United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley:

Helps individuals in need of a wide range of social assistance. This agency provides noncrisis referrals similar to those provided by us at Concern Hotline, but they tend to be hands on walking their clients through the social support system. They are not anonymous and clients can visit the office of VAN by appointment.
