Not for Profit Agency. Provides Emergency Shelter ( Winch/Fred/Clarke). Provides basic needs...food,clothing,rent & untility assistance, counseling. No referral required. Income verification required. Intake hours M-F 9am - 12 pm, 1pm - 3:30 pm. Monetary assistance on a limited basis, available one time per year per request.

ABBA Women's Care and Resource Center

Childbirth and parenting classes. Provides information and support to women facing crisis pregnancy. Non-denominational Christian agency - strive to ensure that women in crisis pregnancy do not face this difficult time alone. All women’s issues. Will accept donations - baby items and maternity clothes. MUST BE clean and good condition.

LIFE CENTER OF PAGE VALLEY

Secular, pro-life resource for pregnant women. Free pregnancy testing, health and nutrition counseling. Promote abstinence and alternatives to abortion.

SALVATION ARMY

Non profit 501C3 organization provides emergency shelter (Winchester/Frederick and Page Co) Provide for basic needs of food, clothing, rent, utilities, counseling, and housing aid. May receive food once a month through food pantry. Clothing needs, no referral required. Income will be verified. Available 9:00am - 12:00am and 1pm - 3:30pm Monday through Friday. Clients will receive a voucher for that day.

SHEN-PACO INDUSTRIES, INC

Not-for-profit organization offering day-support, pre-vocation, vocation supported employment, and assessment services for mentally and/or physically disabled adults.

SHENANDOAH ALLIANCE FOR SHELTER

Adresses the problem of homelessness in Shenandoah County by giving interest-free loans to fmailies with children in crisis to pay a month's rent/mortgage (clients are expected to pay off loans). Operates an Emergency Shelter for families-clients must demonstrate willingness to participate in shelter program and take necessary actiosn to move ahead in life from homelessness to self-suffciency. Having transportation is highly recommended as there is no public transportation.

SHENANDOAH AREA AGENCY ON AGING

Responds to the needs of the elderly population in the Northern Shenandoah Valley through planning, coordinating and administering the following services and programs: Active Living Centers Day programs for seniors that provide meaningful activities including health education, crafts, entertainment, interaction, and fellowship. Hot, well-balanced meals served at noon. Some transportation is available to and from each center. Clark County- Clarke Cty.

SHENANDOAH COMMUNITY HEALTH

Provide mental health and substance abuse evaluation and treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. Individual, group, couple, and family therapy.

SHENANDOAH COUNTY FREE CLINIC

Individuals at or below 150% Federal Poverty Level. Medical and Dental clinics. Psychiatric nurse available.
